RAKHI MAKING ACTIVITY (Class I & II)

RAKHI MAKING ACTIVITY- Class I & II
“Brothers and sisters are as close as hands and feet.”
Raksha Bandhan celebrates the purity and sanctity of the bond that exists between siblings. It is one of the auspicious festivals in India celebrated with great fun and excitement all over the country. Raksha means safety and Bandhan means bond. To strengthen this bond, teachers conducted a ‘Rakhi –making’ activity. Students from class I and II made colourful rakhis. They used decorative threads, stars, mirrors, pearls, cotton, bindi and flowers for making beautiful rakhis.
We believes that such celebrations of festivals with true spirit teach students about our Indian traditions.

SENIOR CITIZEN DAY ACTIVITY
World Senior Citizen Day is a very special day as it celebrates the senior generation who has always worked hard to make our lives better. The older generation of our population is a valuable part of our society. Our senior parents and grandparents are living memories of history, imparting well-earned wisdom and advice, and they provide support and guidance to the children and grandchildren as they navigate many different aspects of life.
To make students understand the importance of senior citizens in our life, teachers organized a card making activity for them. They made beautiful cards for their grandparents and thanked them for being so amazing and so inspire.
