´Teachers hold their students´ hand for a short while, but their hearts 'forever'. Children have unique needs and capabilities . A well designed environment is important in early childhood programme. It is child´s third teacher.
At GGS, kids are nurtured under the tender care of mother teacher. This concept helps in understanding the child while developing an emotional bond between the learner and the teacher. Moreover this also helps in better insight to various developmental stages of the child, especially cognitive and emotional.
Our teachers are not just confined to classroom teaching, but play a pivotal role in each child’s life. A teacher is not only teaching her subject to the students but also constantly teaching her students, values and life lessons that a parent would want to impart in them.
Our staff plays a very important role in providing the required personal attention to our students, which helps them grow in an extremely healthy environment.
We incorporate the best practices of teaching methods along with the Indian values of rigor, homework, respect for elders, etc. This gives our young learners the advantage of a wider scope of learning.
To help each of our students learn better and excel in academics, we have defined processes and set measures in place to ensure that no student is left behind in the learning process.
Early childhood education values the child as strong, capable and resilient; rich with wonder and knowledge. “Learning by exploring” innate curiosity drives their interest to understand their world and their place within it. The teaching and atmosphere of the school stimulate curiosity of a child and make him/her an inquisitive learner. In Kindergarten, children are engaged in school readiness activities such as reading; writing, counting, number recognition and problem solving in a fun filled but purposeful manner. Kindergarten learning activities nurture the multiple intelligences.

A child´s mind is like wet clay and needs to be handled with care. Keeping this in mind, we at GGS provide an encouraging and loving atmosphere, fused with a lot of fun, so that students shed their inhibitions and learn with a free mind. The methodology that we use to teach the students of classes 1 & 2 is activity based, which involves a lot of co-curricular activities which assist the children in comprehending and retaining the concept in a better way. The curriculum planned focuses more on depth and is progressive and flexible in its approach and is adjusted according to the learner´s need. The children are given activity based assignments to check the retention of the concepts taught. At this level we emphasis more on experiential learning. Our aim is to prepare the children to read, write and do mathematics. We also promote self control and inner discipline in children through appropriate interaction.
Curriculum is designed to spark human greatness in every single child by discovering and then nurturing each child's unique gift.
Education is a life long journey and the school realizes the importance of a good start. At the Junior school level the school expects the students to entrench world. They learn to question, analyze, classify and communicate their perceptions.
The students also learn about the significance of festivals and are encouraged to imbibe Indian value in their lives.
